JIGAWA STATE
Jigawa state Governor, Alhaji Sule Lamido today bounced back as elected Governor of the state with 676,307 votes.
Declaring the result of the election, the Returning Officer, Professor Dahiru Aminu said Lamido defeated Gubernatorial Candidates of the CPC, ACN and ANPP, Alhaji Farouq Adamu Aliyu, Barrister Ibrahim Hassan and Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar.
Professor Aminu said the ACN scored 343,177 votes, ANPP got 12,124, CPC scored 56,911 respectively.
He said total registered votes in the state stood at 1,855,291, while total votes casted was 1,153,621.He added that valid votes during the election was 194,549 and rejected votes stood at 59,072.

KWARA STATE
The PDP has won in Kwara state's governorship election, scoring a total of 254, 969 votes.The ACN followed with 152, 580, the ACPN had 72, 456 and the CPC had 10, 042. According to the collation officer Prof Abdulrasheed Aderinoye, the PDP finished withthe mandatory two third majority of 25% of the Local Government Areas in all the 16 local governments while the ACN was able to amass two third majority in only 8 local government areas.
Taking this into cognizance, PDP's Abdfattah Ahmed was declared the winner of the election
Three opposition political parties in Jigawa state today rejected the official results of the gubernatorial election that saw the incumbent Governor of the state, Alhaji Sule Lamido as winner.
The parties are Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) and the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC).
The three parties refused to sign the result of the election and threatened to challenge the credibility of the election before the electoral tribunal.
Speaking to newsmen in separate interviews shortly after the declaration of the results, Agents of the three political parties, Alhaji Sule Musa Dutse (CPC), Alhaji Sa'idu Yusuf Miga (ANPP) and Alhaji Ubale Shitu of the ACN faulted the results on ground that, the election was fraudulent.
SOKOTO STATE
PDP has won all the 30 state Assembly seats and the Sokoto North senatorial slot in the election conducted on Tuesday.
The Resident Electoral Commissioner, Alhaji Husseini Mahuta stated that PDP’s Ahmed Maccido, the incumbent won the Sokoto North senatorial election by clinching 154,932 votes.
His opponents, Usman Muhammad of CPC got 42,021 votes, Ahmed Tangaza of ACN 17,959 while Hayatu Tafida of ANPP scored 471 votes.
NASSARAWA STATE
Not less than 10 of the 13 local government chairmen who were sacked last year by out-going Nasarawa State governor, Aliyu Akwe Doma, poured into streets in wild jubilation over his defeat in Tuesday’s poll by CPC’s Umaru Tanko Al-Makura.
The chairmen were sacked in a broadcast announcement by Doma, who shortened their three-year tenure by one year, in what the government claimed was part of the implementation of a purportedly amended Local Government Law 2008.

The chairmen who have been leading the crusade against the failed re-election bid of the out-going governor at the grassroots, stormed out of a meeting place in the GRA section of KEffi where they were waiting for the official declaration of the governorship result which put Al-Makura defeating Doma. The result showed that Al-Makura polled 324,823 while Doma got 320,538.
The chairmen were led by Barrister Mohammed Sani Bawa of Nasarawa LG who took Doma to court, Engr. Mohammed Idris of Keffi and Bashir Abubakar Sharubutu of Kokona, all of whom stormed the streets with bare feet, screaming anti-Doma slogans.
LAGOS STATE
Governor Fashola of ACN won with 1, 509, 113 votes. Abike Dabiri won at Ikorodu constituency.
OGUN STATE
Ibikunle Amosu of ACN won with 377, 487
