NYSC warns contractors over supply

Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, Brigadier-General Maharazu Tsiga, weekend, warned against supply of sub-standard kits for Batch B corpers, insisting on strict adherence to stipulated

standards by contractors.

Tsiga, represented by the Director, Planning, Research and Statistics, Chief Mike Ejoh, during the opening of tender for the supply of kits for 2011 Batch B corps members, said contractors were expected to supply high quality kits.

He said: “As stakeholders in the NYSC transactions, we believe in contractors’ usual sense of understanding in the production and supply of high quality kit items.

“May I inform all our prospective contractors that we will not compromise standards.”

Tsiga also warned of dire consequences for failure to deliver goods on time, adding that “any contractor will be penalise for delay in supply.”(Facebook)
