The Muslim does not Harbour Envy

From Ibn Mas'ood (radiyallaahu 'anhumaa) who said that Allaah's Messenger (salallaahu 'alaihi wa'sallam) said:

There is to be no envy except with regard to two: A man whom Allaah has given wealth which he strives to spend righteously, and a man to whom Allaah has given the Wisdom (i.e. the Qur'aan) and he acts according to it and teaches it to others.
If he were to have envy of the people he would hope for their downfall in order to satisfy the pride that he has in himself, his vanity and the conceitedness of his mind. So he (the Muslim) knows that envy is a dangerous disease and a harmful evil and therefore keeps away from it.

As for the envy which is accepted from that which is sinful, then it is envy which does not cause the person to be afflicted by the sickness of wishing for that blessing to leave the other person. Rather he supplicates to his Lord, the One free of all imperfections, for his brother; that Allaah should protect him, and for himself; that Allaah should make him like him. As for that which is at variance with this, then it is blameworthy and to be condemned. So this emphasises that fact that the Muslim is one who is:

Full text of Jonathan Goodluck Inauguration Address

Find Below is President Goodluck Jonathan’s inauguration address on the occasion of his swearing-in as President/Inauguration , Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of   Nigeria on May 29, 2011 at Abuja
PROTOCOL
1.          My Dear Compatriots, I stand in humble gratitude to you, this day, having just sworn to the oath of office as President, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of our great nation.
2.          I thank you all, fellow citizens, for the trust and confidence, which you have demonstrated through the power of your vote. I want to assure you, that I will do my utmost at all times, to continue to deserve your trust.
3.          I would like to specially acknowledge the presence in our midst today, of Brother Heads of State and Government, who have come to share this joyous moment with us.  Your Excellencies, I thank you for your solidarity.  I also wish to express my gratitude, to the Representatives of Heads of State and Government who are here with us.  My appreciation also goes to the chairperson of the African Union and other world leaders, our development partners, and all our distinguished guests.
4.          I want to specially thank all Nigerians for staying the course in our collective commitment to build a democratic nation. To members of the PDP family and members of other political parties, who have demonstrated faith in our democratic enterprise, I salute you.
5.          At this juncture, let me acknowledge and salute my friend and brother, Vice-President Namadi Sambo; and my dear wife, Patience, who has been a strong pillar of support.
6.          I thank her for galvanizing and mobilizing Nigerian women for the cause of democracy. In the same vein, I owe a debt of gratitude to my mother and late father. I cannot thank them enough.
7.          I cannot but paytribute to our late President, Alhaji Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, with whom we won the Presidential election four years ago, when I contested as his running mate.   May God bless his soul.
8.          I also wish to pay tribute to our founding fathers, whose enduring sacrifices and abiding faith in the unity and greatness of our country, laid the foundation for the nation. We take enormous pride in their contributions.  The pivotal task of this generation is to lift our fatherland to the summit of greatness.
President Jonathan taking his oath of office.
9.          Your Excellencies, Distinguished Ladies and Gentlemen, earlier this year, over seventy-three million eligible Nigerians endured all manner of inconvenience just to secure their voters cards,in order to exercise the right to choose those that will govern them.
10.     At the polls, we saw the most dramatic expressions of the hunger for democracy. Stories of courage and patriotism were repeated in many ways, including how fellow citizens helped physically challenged voters into polling stations to enable them exercise their franchise.  The inspiring story of the one hundred and three year-old man, and many like him across the country, who struggled against the physical limitations of age to cast their vote, is noteworthy.
11.     Such determination derives from the typical Nigerian spirit of resilience in the face of the greatest of odds.  That spirit has, over the years, stirred our hopes, doused our fears, and encouraged us to gather ourselves to build a strong nation even when others doubted our capacity.
12.     Today, our unity is firm, and our purpose is strong.  Our determination unshakable. Together, we will unite our nation and improve the living standards of all our peoples whether in the North or in the South; in the East or in the West.  Our decade of development has begun.  The march is on.  The day of transformation begins today. We will not allow anyone exploit differences in creed or tongue, to set us one against another. Let me at this point congratulate the elected Governors, Senators, members of the House of Representatives and those of the States Houses of Assembly for their victories at the polls.
13.     I am mindful that I represent the shared aspiration of all our people to forge a united Nigeria: a land of justice, opportunity and plenty. Confident that a people that are truly committed to a noble ideal, cannot be denied the realization of their vision, I assure you that this dream of Nigeria, that is so deeply felt by millions, will indeed come to reality.
14.     A decade ago, it would have been a mere daydream to think that a citizen from a minority ethnic group could galvanize national support, on an unprecedented scale, to discard ancient prejudices, and win the people’s mandate as President of our beloved country. That result emanated from the toil and sacrifice of innumerable individuals and institutions, many of whom may never get to receive public appreciation for their effort.
15.     Only a couple of days ago, I received an entry on my Facebook page. It was sent by Mr. Babajide Orevba. He wrote to inform me that I had lost a great fan. That fan was his father, Mr. Emmanuel Bamidele Orevba. The deceased, the son told me, was no politician, but had campaigned enthusiastically for my ticket. Tragically, overwhelmed by the joy of our victory, he collapsed, and passed on three days later. I pray God Almighty to grant his soul eternal rest.
16.     The success of the 2011 elections and the widespread acclaim which the exercise received was due to the uncommon patriotism and diligence exhibited by many Nigerians, including members of the Armed Forces, National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and others. Unfortunately, despite the free, fair and transparent manner the elections were conducted, a senseless wave of violence in some parts of the country led to the death of ten members of the NYSC and others.  These brave men and women paid the supreme sacrifice in the service of our fatherland. They are heroes of our democracy. We offer our heartfelt prayers and condolences in respect of all those who lost their lives.
17.     In the days ahead, those of us that you have elected to serve must show that we are men and women with the patriotism and passion, to match the hopes and aspirations of you, the great people of this country.  We must demonstrate the leadership, statesmanship, vision, capacity, and sacrifice, to transform our nation. We must strengthen common grounds, develop new areas of understanding and collaboration, and seek fresh ideas that will enrich our national consensus.
18.     It is the supreme task of this generation to give hope to the hopeless, strength to the weak and protection to the defenceless.
19.     Fellow citizens, the leadership we have pledged is decidedly transformative.  The transformation will be achieved in all the critical sectors, by harnessing the creative energies of our people.
20.     We must grow the economy, create jobs, and generate enduring happiness for our people. I have great confidence in the ability of Nigerians to transform this country.  The urgent task of my administration is to provide a suitable environment, for productive activities to flourish. I therefore call on the good people of Nigeria, to enlist as agents of this great transformation.
21.     My dear countrymen and women, being a Nigerian is a blessing. It is also a great responsibility. We must make a vow that, together, we will make the Nigerian Enterprise thrive.
22.     The leadership and the followership must strive to convert our vast human and natural resources into the force that leads to a greater Nigeria. The Nigeria of our dreams must be built on hard work and not on short cuts. Let me salute the Nigerian workers who build our communities, cities and country. They deserve fair rewards, and so do the women that raise our children, and the rural dwellers that grow our food.
23.     The moment is right. The signs are heart-warming. We are ready to take off on the path of sustained growth and economic development.  In our economic strategy, there will be appropriate policy support to the real sector of the economy, so that Small and Medium Enterprises may thrive. Nigeria is blessed with enormous natural wealth, and my Administration will continue to encourage locally owned enterprises to take advantage of our resources in growing the domestic economy.  A robust private sector is vital to providing jobs for our rapidly expanding population.  But this must be a collaborative effort.
24.     We must form technical and financial partnerships with global businesses and organizations. We live in an age where no country can survive on its own; countries depend on each other for economic well-being.  Nigeria is no different. Returns on investment in Nigeria remain among the highest in the world. We will continue to welcome sustainable investment in our economy.
25.     We will push programs and policies that will benefit both local and foreign businesses, but we must emphasize mutual benefits and win-win relationships. The overall ongoing reforms in the banking and financial sectors are therefore designed to support the real sector of the economy.
26.     To drive our overall economic vision, the power sector reform is at the heart of our industrialization strategy. I call on all stakeholders, to cooperate with my administration, to ensure the success of the reforms.
27.     Over the next four years, attention will be focused on rebuilding our infrastructure. We will create greater access to quality education and improved health care delivery.  We will pay special attention to the agricultural sector, to enable it play its role of ensuring food security and massive job creation for our people.
28.     The creation of the Nigerian Sovereign Investment Authority will immensely contribute to strengthening our fiscal framework, by institutionalizing savings of our commodity-related revenues. With this mechanism in place, we will avoid the boom and bust cycles, and mitigate our exposure to oil price volatility.
29.     The lesson we have learnt is that the resolution of
the Niger Delta issue is crucial for the health of the nation’s economy.  In the interest of justice, equity and national unity, we shall actively promote the development of the region.  I believe that peace is a necessary condition for development.
30.     Fellow citizens, in every decision, I shall always place the common good before all else.  The bane of corruption shall be met by the overwhelming force of our collective determination, to rid our nation of this scourge. The fight against corruption is a war in which we must all enlist, so that the limited resources of this nation will be used for the growth of our commonwealth.
31.     I am confident that we have every reason to lookto the future with hope.  We owe ourselves and posterity the duty of making this country respectable in the comity of nations. Nigeria, as a responsible member of the international community, will remain committed to the maintenance of global peace and security. We will continue to play an active role in the United Nations. Our role in the African Union, ECOWAS, and the Gulf of Guinea will be enhanced to ensure greater human and energy security.
32.     Your Excellencies, Distinguished Ladies and Gentlemen, this is a new dawn for Africa. We fought for decolonization. We will now fight for democratization.  Nigeria, in partnership with the African Union, will lead the process for democracy and development in Africa. In particular, we will support the consolidation of democracy, good governance and human rights in the continent.  Africa must develop its vast resources to tackle poverty and under-development.
33.     Conscious of the negative effect of insecurity on growth and development, my Administration will seek collaboration at bilateral and multilateral levels, to improve our capability in combating trans-border crimes. In this regard, we will intensify our advocacy against the illicit trades in small arms and light weapons, which have become the catalyst for conflicts on the African continent. All Nigerian diplomatic missions abroad are to accord this vision of defending the dignity of humanity the highest priority.
34.     My fellow countrymen and women, Nigeria is not just a land of promise; it shall be a nation where positive change will continue to take place, for the good of our people.  The time for lamentation is over. This is the era of transformation.  This is the time for action. But Nigeria can only be transformed if we all play our parts with commitment and sincerity. Cynicism and skepticism will not help our journey to greatness. Let us all believe in a new Nigeria. Let us work together to build a great country that we will all be proud of.  This is our hour.
35.     Fellow Compatriots, lift your gaze towards the horizon. Look ahead and you will see a great future that we can secure with unity, hard work and collective sacrifice.
36.     Join me now as we begin the journey of transforming Nigeria.
·       I will continue to fight, for your future, because I am one of you.
·       I will continue to fight, for improved medical care for all our citizens.
·       I will continue to fight for all citizens to have access to first class education.
·       I will continue to fight for electricity to be available to all our citizens.
·       I will continue to fight for an efficient and affordable public transport system for all our people.
·       I will continue to fight for jobs to be created through productive partnerships.
37.     You have trusted me with your mandate, and I will never, never let you down.
38.     I know your pain, because I have been there.  Look beyond the hardship you have endured. See a new beginning;a new direction;a new spirit.
39.     Nigerians, I want you to start to dream again.  What you see in your dreams, we can achieve together. I call upon all the Presidential candidates who contested with me to join hands with us as we begin the transformation of our country.
40.     Let us work together; let us build together; let us bequeath a greater Nigeria to the generations to come.
41.     I thank you! God bless you all! And God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Mohamed Bin Hammam of Qatar ends FIFA presidential bid

Mohamed Bin Hammam of Qatar says he has pulled out of the race to head football's world governing body, Fifa. The move came hours before the 62-year-old Asian Football Confederation chief was due to face an ethics committee hearing into bribery claims.
He said he did not want to see Fifa's name "dragged more in the mud".
Mr Bin Hammam had been due to stand against incumbent Fifa chief Sepp Blatter, who is also facing the inquiry. Both deny corruption claims.
Mr Bin Hammam stressed his withdrawal must not "be tied to the investigation held by the Fifa ethics committee", pledging that he would appear before the panel to clear his name.
His decision not to run means that Mr Blatter is the only remaining candidate in the election of the new Fifa president, scheduled for Wednesday.

Happy Democracy Day Nigerians

As Nigeria celebrate the Democracy Day today, i want to wish Nigerians Happy Democracy day. It is my prayer that the Lord will make today the beginning of better things to come for the country.

Globacom Nigeria has also congratulated the government and people of Nigeria on the occasion of Democracy Day celebrations.
In a statement in Lagos, Globacom’s Group Chief Operating Officer, Mohamed Jameel, said that there was so much to celebrate as Nigeria marks yet another year of its return to democratic governance.
Jameel noted that despite present challenges, there was cause for Nigerians to cheer as the country had, in the last few years, made appreciable progress in its journey to civil rule and nationhood.
A major reason for joy, he said, was the recent largely successful elections and the ability of Nigerians to  weather the storm and remain one united country.

The Muslim Seeks to Make Excuses for Other Muslims

From Sa'd ibn 'Ubaadah (radiyallaahu 'anhu) who said that Allaah's Messenger (salallaahu 'alaihiwa'sallam)said: ...and there is no one who loves to accept an excuse more than Allaah, and because of
this he sent the bringers of good news and the warners..
So a Muslim seeking to make an excuse for his brother and those whom he loves will cause good will to spread instead of antagonism, and will bring about ties of relationship instead of estrangement. Since if Allaah, He who is free of all imperfections, grants excuse, and He is the Creator and the Most Great, then how can you O servant of Allaah, a weak creation of his, not seek to make excuse for others? Rather as is said: Seek an excuse for your brother. Likewise there is the saying: the believers seek to make excuses for others, whereas the hypocrites hope for the downfall of others. So the fact that the Muslim seeks to excuse his brothers emphasises that:

Air Strikes, Russia Presure squeeze Gaddafi

Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi faced tightening military and diplomatic pressure as NATO airstrikes hit Tripoli for the fifth straight night and Russia joined Western powers in demanding his departure. NATO
bombed several sites in the capital on Friday night, Libyan state television and Arab news channel Al Arabiya reported.
The Libyan broadcaster said NATO raids also caused "human and material" damage near Mizda, to the south. Russia joined Western leaders on Friday in urging Gaddafi to step down and offered to mediate his departure, an important boost to NATO powers seeking to end his 41-year rule. It was a striking change in tone from Moscow, which has previously criticised the 10-week bombing of Libya. NATO intervened under a United Nations mandate to protect civilians from Gaddafi's forces, but has effectively placed itself on the side of rebels trying to topple him in a deadlocked civil war.
NATO said it was preparing to deploy attack helicopters over the Arab North African state for the first time to add to the pressure on Gaddafi's forces on the ground. "There are signs that the momentum against Gaddafi is really building. So it is right that we are ratcheting up the military, the economic and the political pressure," Prime Minister David Cameron said at a Group of Eight summit in France. Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said Gaddafi no longer had the right to lead his country. (Reuters)

Jonathan says PDP will monitor performance of elected officials

President Goodluck Jonathan says the PDP will vigorously monitor the performance of all officials elected on the party’s platform. Jonathan made the declaration on Saturday at the groundbreaking ceremony for the new PDP National Secretariat in Abuja.

He said the PDP should be grateful to Nigerians for keeping faith with the party in its efforts to entrench democracy in Nigeria.
He said the party must also remain in the vanguard of transforming the country.
“I hereby commit to further deepening democracy in the country by continuing to uphold the rule of law and strengthening all democratic institutions.
“To this end, the PDP under my watch will take a very active interest in the performance of all officials elected on the platform of the PDP.
“Only in good works can the people reward us with their vote,’’ the President observed.
The President noted that every serious-minded political party must be financially independent to be able to function efficiently.
He, therefore, urged Nigerians to demand accountability from all elected leaders.
“Only the financially independent political party can take hard but necessary decisions in the quest for national interest as well as enforce party discipline.
“ Our people must guard our democracy by holding both the political parties and elected leaders accountable.
Also speaking, Vice President and Chairman of the Fund Raising/ Building Committee, Namadi Sambo, said the project enjoyed tremendous support by members who are professionals.
He said that part of the 12 storey structure would be used as party offices while the remaining part would be rented out for commercial purposes.
Earlier, acting PDP National Chairman Haliru Bello  said by its performance in the just-concluded elections, the party had demonstrated that it is the party of choice for all Nigerians.
Bello promised that the party would consolidate on its mandate as well as improve internal party practices to reflect the new dawn of Nigeria’s democracy.
Senate President David Mark, FCT Minister  Bala Mohammed and past national chairmen of the PDP were among the dignitaries who attended the event.(NAN)

Egypt opens Gaza Border

Egypt on Saturday permanently opened the Gaza Strip's main gateway to the outside world after four years, bringing long-awaited relief to the territory's Palestinian population and a significant achievement for the area's
ruling Hamas militant group.
The reopening of the Rafah border crossing eases an Egyptian blockade of Gaza that has prevented the vast majority of the densely populated area's 1.5 million people from being able to travel abroad. The closure, along with an Israeli blockade of its borders with Gaza, has fueled an economic crisis in the territory.
But Saturday's move also raises Israeli fears that militants will be able to move freely in and out of Gaza.
Highlighting those fears, the Israeli army said militants from inside Gaza fired a mortar shell into southern Israel overnight. There were no injuries, and Israel did not respond.
Israel and Egypt imposed the blockade after Hamas seized control of Gaza in June 2007. The closure, which also included tight Israeli restrictions at its cargo crossings with Gaza and a naval blockade, was meant to weaken Hamas, an Islamic militant group that opposes peace with Israel.
But since the ouster of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak in February, Egypt's new leadership has vowed to ease the blockade and improve relations with the Palestinians.
The Rafah border terminal has functioned at limited capacity for months. Travel has been restricted to certain classes of people, such as students, businessmen or medical patients. And the crossing was often subject to closures. Travel through Israel's passenger crossing with Gaza is extremely rare.
Under the new system, most restrictions are being lifted, and a much larger number of Palestinians are expected to be able to cross each day, easing a backlog that can force people to wait for months.
Some 400 people had gathered at Rafah early Saturday as the first bus load of passengers crossed the border. Two Egyptian officers stood guard next to a large Egyptian flag atop the border gate as the vehicle passed through.

Boko Haram Strike Again

Members of  the Yusufiyya sect, popularly known as Boko Haram, yesterday attacked and destroyed the Damboa Divisional police headquarters, police barracks and the First Bank branch in Damboa local government
area of Borno state,  Nigeria killing four policemen, one prison warden and eight civilians.
The Islamists sect, it was gathered, came in three vehicles with Kalashnikov rifles and explosives, used in setting the police station ablaze, before attacking the bank and the police barracks that accommodate over 100 policemen in Damboa.
Confirming the incident, the Borno state commissioner of police, Alhaji Mohammed Jinjiri Abubakar, in a briefing at the police headquarters in Maiduguri, said members of the Boko Haram numbering about 70 came in three different vehicles, attacked the police station and threw some explosive devices on the station.

Nigeria Democracy Day; Tribunal Okays Jonathan for Inauguration

The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja, yesterday, declined to stop President Goodluck Jonathan and his deputy, Architect Namadi Sambo, from presenting themselves for the purposes of being
sworn into their respective offices tomorrow, just as it equally struck-out the substantive petition filed before it by the Hope Democratic Party, HDP.
HDP had gone before the court with a motion seeking to forestall the planned swearing-in ceremony, insisting that it was the only way the tribunal could effectively protect the ‘Res’ of all the pending petitions challenging the outcome of the April 16 presidential election that favoured the  Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
The party via a petition it lodged before the tribunal on May 6, alleged that Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, failed to comply with either the Electoral Act 2010 or the 1999 Constitution as amended, in conducting the presidential poll on a day different from the originally slated April 9, adding that over 30 million votes that were garnered by its own presidential candidate, Chief Ambrose Owuru, were illegally diverted to the PDP.
It pleaded with the court to, on the interim, issue an order of mandatory injunction directing INEC to suspend and withdraw the certificate of return already issued to the president and his deputy, pending when the merit in its request for a nullification of the poll, is determined.
Meanwhile, a mild drama played out yesterday when the motion seeking the stoppage of the scheduled presidential inauguration was called up for hearing.
Immediately one Mr. Eyare J Ogar, announced his appearance for the petitioner, HDP, expressing his readiness to properly join issues with the team of lawyers who were led by Dr Alex Izinyon, SAN, and Mr Damien Dodo, SAN, to enter an appearance for both the 1st and 2nd respondents, Jonathan and Sambo,  another lawyer that identified himself as Mr Tochukwu Alozor, stood up to inform the court that the petition pending before it was a fraud.
Tochukwu told the bewildered court that his name and signature was illegally used by the petitioner in preparing the suit, stressing that he neither prepared, signed, no consented to the entire process.
According to him, “my lords, I need to draw the attention of this court to the fact that my name was used in preparing this suit. I didn’t know anything about it. I didn’t sign it neither was my consent sought before it was filed in court”.
His assertions led to lawyers on the side of President Jonathan, to demand a thorough investigation of the alleged scam with a view to identifying and punishing the culprits.
Dr Izinyon contended that the implication of the revelation meant that there was no valid petition before the tribunal upon which the motion that sought to frustrate the swearing-in ceremony was anchored, just as he urged the court to not only strike out the petition in its entirety, but to go ahead and order relevant security agencies in the country to investigate the allegation by Mr Alozor.
Determined to get to the root of the matter, the 5-man panel of jurists headed by the president of the court of appeal, Justice Isa Ayo Salami, stood down the matter for 30 minutes, a period within which the lawyer that ab-initio announced his appearance for the HDP, Ogar, quickly filed an application to withdraw the suit.
When the court reconvened, he informed the panel of his decision to withdraw the appearance of his chambers from the suit or in the alternative to withdraw the substantive petition.
“We are very sad about this development; we were briefed and assured by the petitioner that the counsel that signed the petition was in the chambers of A.A Owuru himself. This revelation is not only shocking to us, but it is quite embarrassing and highly regrettable.

U-20 World Cup: Our aim is to lift the trophy – Obuh

The Flying Eagles of Nigeria, John Obuh has disclosed that his eyes are on the coveted U-20 trophy as he plans to take each game in the competition as they come.

The former Kwara United gaffer said he and other members of the technical crew have identified the loopholes in the team during the just concluded African Youth Championship which they won and hopes to correct them as they prepare for the World Cup which starts 29 July in Colombia.
“We will take the matches as they come. We are taking all the teams in the group seriously. Anybody that is competing in the world stage will always want to conquer, so we are going to the World Cup with the aim of winning. I just submitted my programme for the tournament to the technical committee of the NFF.
I hope they approve it early so we can start preparation. “We have noted the team’s challenges at the last competition and we will straighten them up before the World Cup. We really worked very well and had the same mind. Irrespective of our mistakes, we were still able to get a good result out of the competition,” Obuh said.
The Flying Eagles of Nigeria are drawn in Group D alongside Saudi Arabia, Croatia and Guatemala.

Air Nigeria Flight cancellation caused Chaos

The toll of rising cost and scarcity of aviation fuel on the Nigeria domestic aviation market got to a tumultuous height yesterday on Air Nigeria as the airline’s flight operations were grounded.

There was a chaotic scene at the departure hall of the Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal as Air Nigeria passengers protested delay and subsequent cancellation of  scheduled flights.
A passenger, James Ikechukwu  who was supposed to travel with the Airline to Owerri, said “I had bought my ticket earlier to travel to Owerri and went through the boarding process. I was given my boarding pass and admitted to the departure hall. But we waited and at every interval, an announcement came from the public address system that the flight had been delayed due to operational reasons.
“By 2 pm, we were still waiting and when we demanded to know why we were being kept indefinitely, we were told that there was no fuel to fly.”
Unconfirmed reports said there was a fight between the airline officials and passengers.
Airlines in Nigeria have been having running battle with fuel marketers who jerked up the price of the product from N120 per liter to about N150 to N162 depending on the location.
They have also insisted that the airlines pay cash and carry for their fuel and this has become a problem with the airline operators as fuel now accounts for about 45 per cent of their operating cost.
Director General of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) Dr Harold Demuren condemned the rising cost of the Jet A-1, saying it was unreasonable and unsustainable.

Responsibility

From 'Umar (radiyallaahu 'anhu) who said that Allaah's Messenger (salallaahu 'alaihi wa'sallam) said: Each of you is a guardian and is responsible for those whom he is in charge of. So the ruler is a guardia  and is
responsible for his subjects; a man is the guardian of his family and is responsible for those under his care; a woman is a guardian of her husband's home and is responsible for those under her care; a servant is the guardian of his master's wealth and is responsible for that which he is entrusted with; and a man is the guardian of his father's wealth and is responsible fore what is under his care. So each one of you is a guardian and is responsible for what he is entrusted with.
So if everyone from this Ummah knew his own position and worth, and realised the responsibility upon him and did not seek to overstep it and take on the responsibilities of others and he carried out the obligations which this placed upon him, then that would be a comprehensive and universal good and a very great treasure through which safety and security would become widespread. Along with this something that is a feature of the Islamic Personality is
