A military helicopter has reportedly crashed near Yenegoa in Bayelsa State, Saturday evening.
Governor Patrick Yakowa of Kaduna State, former national security adviser, NSA, General Owoeye Azazi were said to be in the naval aircraft at the time of the crash.

FRSC Dismissed 100 Marshals for Corruption


The Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Commission, Mr. Osita Chidoka, said on Wednesday that 100 officials of the commission have been dismissed from the service for corruption.

8,159 students Graduated from Unilag Today

A total of 8,159 students graduated from the University of Lagos today. Out of the total number, 4,375 received first degrees while 3,784 received post graduate degrees. The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB has declared sit at home order on the day of the burial of the former Biafran warlord, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu.
In a statement by the MASSOB Director of Information, Uchenna Madu, the order was a mark of honour and respect to their former leader who would be buried in his country home.

“As mark of honour and respect to His Excellency, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu MASSOB has declared sit at home ‘s on the 3rd February for Biafrans. All markets, shops motor parks, schools, airport, banks and offices shall be closed from 7am to 4 pm.
