CAF has awarded this year AFrica footballer of the Year award 2011 to the Ivory coast and Manchester City Midfielder, Yaya Toure. Yaya get the award ahead of the Ghanian star, Ayew . Yaya. accept my congratulations and we expect more of you in 2012.

Coach of the Year: Harouna Doula, Niger, for qualifying his side to the Africa Cup Of Nations for the first time
National Team of the Year: Botswana, for getting to their first ever Africa Cup Of Nations.

Club of the Year: Esperance Sportive de Tunis (Tunisia), winner of the Caf Champions League
Referee of the Year: Noumandiez Doue, Cote d'Ivoire. A pharmacist by profession.
Most Promising Talent of the Year: Souleymane Coulibaly (Tottenham and Cote d'Ivoire)
Women’s Footballer of the Year: Perpetua Nkwocha (Nigeria)
