The State Security Service (SSS) officers this morning arrested Former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Malam Nasir El-Rufai.
The SSS arrested El-Rufai around 6.30 am at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja .
El-Rufai published his own arrest on Twitter, a social network before his battery went and he wrote the following at about 8am.
“Got detained by the SSS on arrival at Abuja Airport. No reason given. On our way to the Headqurters. Will keep you posted if phones not seized”
‘We have arrived safely at SSS HQ. They are polite and courteous, so far…’
”Taken up three floors to see the DG. He was my director of security in FCT, 2003…decent man then, will soon know if fresh air has got him.’

That is a good one from the former minister and the power of twitter if you ask me.
