To ensure the success of President Goodluck Jonathan’s transformation agenda, the National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, has called for an end to the spate of bomb blasts in the country, saying, the nation
could hardly record expected development or investment in a state of chaos or violence. This came as NANS had fixed its national convention for next month in Abuja. The leaders of NANS, Comrades Jude Imagwe and Ini Ememobong, who made the remarks while speaking with newsmen, challenged Nigerians to unite by putting an end to the ugly trend.
Imagwe said: “Today, we are kick-starting a process that will greatly unite our dear organisation, just as Mr. President has set an agenda of transformation for Nigeria. It is, therefore, important to have every sector transformed and we, as successor generation, must kick-start the transformation.”
