No fewer than 30 suspected kidnappers, including those who infiltrated Delta State have been arrested and are presently being interrogated by security agents.
The state Governor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan disclosed this while addressing newsmen, shortly after a security council meeting held at Government House, Asaba, yesterday.
Although the Governor admitted that there were some security challenges, he assured the people of the state that there was no cause for alarm, as adequate steps had been taken to deal with the situation. He listed Kwale, Effurun, Ughelli, Sapele and Ibusa as places where the security challenges had became knotty.
