When a Christian New Yorker murdered a fellow being, there is the Headline the next day that ‘A New Yorker murdered fellow New Yorker’ but when a Muslim New Yorker commit the same offence, there is report like ‘An Islamic extremist murdered a New Yorker’.
This and other instances in the past prompted my writing this piece to ask fellow citizen of the World what the offence of the Muslim(s) is/ (are) to deserve this and other allegations. Yes i am a Muslim and i don’t support extremism neither nor do i support killings of innocent souls so does Islam.
You will agree with me that there has not been fair reporting of issues that involved Muslims in the past but that is not to say that Muslims have never been favoured in the past but i think more can still be done.
Islam is a religion of Peace and the Muslims are peaceful people. Let's find out the genesis of issues before we conclude and the press should also be fair when reporting issues that has political / religious undertone.
